Auto Engaging Container Lifting Beam
Used to help unload unevenly loaded containers from the back of a lorry using an existing crane system. The beam needed to lock into position on the container without the need for an operator to climb up a ladder or on top of the container to attach or rotate a lift lug.
Vacuum Lifting Bar
Required to lift a painted sheet steel fabrication that was above the specified manual handling limit. The component needed to be lifted horizontally from a delivery stillage to the production line using an overhead crane.
Heavy Duty Turnover Frame
This needed to be able to pick up a set of components weighing up to 5 tonnes with only a forklift available. Once the components had been lifted they needed to rotated by 180° to allow for maintenance staff to work on both sides.
